DÉJÀ VU

Confronting the Cultural Distortion Caused by Communism

A Memoir

Stripping the Seductive Mask of Modern Environmentalism

Environ

For decades, a persistent and haunting sense of déjà vu has colored my observations of Western political and academic institutions. Having lived through the devastating mechanisms of the Chinese Communist Party’s Cultural Revolution, I recognize the distinct signature of a societal virus long before it paralyzes its victims. It always begins with the distortion of language, transitions into engineered social chaos, instills a debilitating collective fear, and ends in the total possession of thought and human behavior. Today, this exact entropic progression has weaponized the noble human desire to protect nature, converting it into a tyrannical pseudoscientific narrative: the myth of the “Climate Emergency.”

As a natural scientist whose professional life was anchored in the absolute, austere logic of classical geochemistry and thermodynamics, I view the natural world through a lens of empirical reality. Thermodynamics acts as a precise chisel; its fundamental laws allow us to chip away at the impossible to illuminate the beautiful, complex cycles of our planet. Yet, when we look at the contemporary arena of climatology, we find that the scientific chisel has been stolen by political activists and replaced with hyper-flexible, parameterized computer models.

The Absurdity of the Modeled World

Climate change is a profound, multi-layered reality that has operated for billions of years, driven by solar fluctuations, variations in the Earth’s orbit, tectonic redistributions, and the intricate interactions of the atmosphere, lithosphere, biosphere, and oceans. During our planet’s long history, it has weathered at least five great ice ages. The last major glaciation ended a mere 12,000 years ago, placing us squarely within an interglacial period. At our current level of scientific development, humanity cannot fully explain the drivers behind these massive historical shifts. How, then, can political bodies claim with absolute certainty that they can accurately project and manipulate the climate of the future?

The answer is that they cannot. Climatological models are notorious parameterized architectures. As my colleague Daniel, a professor of climatology, noted in our academic discussions, these models can be adjusted with such flexibility that they can technically predict opposite outcomes based on the preferences of the modeler.

We saw a clear demonstration of this logical acrobatics when studying the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC). When empirical evidence surfaced indicating that this vital ocean current system was slowing down—a classic sign historically linked to global cooling cycles—academic papers immediately performed an absurd logical loop. They claimed that global warming was causing the cooling mechanism, twisting the data to protect their preferred hypothesis. In modern academia, joining this chorus is the only guaranteed route to secure research funding, while questioning it invites immediate political denunciation.

The Tyranny of Language Chaos

This is not a mere academic failure; it is a calculated political game. Just as the CCP systematically altered the definitions of traditional Chinese words to reconstruct a culture of submissive puppets, a subtle tyranny of language has sneaked into the United States.

Consider the deliberate transition from the phrase “man-made global warming” to the unscientific umbrella of “climate change.” By expanding the vocabulary into an unfalsifiable concept, the elitists have insulted the public’s intelligence. If a region suffers a heatwave, it is labeled “climate change.” If a historic blizzard freezes the East Coast, it is also “climate change.” Short-term weather patterns are intentionally conflated with long-term climate trajectories to keep the citizenry in a perpetual state of existential panic.

The purpose of this fear-mongering is simple: to coerce the population into surrendering their liberty in exchange for a false promise of state-managed safety. It mirrors the destructive, collectivist slogans of the past, demanding that the individual blindly obey the state’s dictates.

Realities From the Frontier of Common Sense

Fortunately, the facade is beginning to crack under the weight of its own economic and physical contradictions. I was proud to join thousands of my global peers in signing the World Climate Declaration, organized by the Climate Intelligence Foundation (CLINTEL). Our message is unequivocal: There is no climate emergency.

Recent publications from the global scientific community continue to expose the severe distortions of the IPCC’s “frozen climate views.” For instance, recent analytical work highlighted by CLINTEL emphasizes the inescapable industrial reality of our physical world. Despite the “woke” elite’s obsession with a purely digital, ethereal existence powered by imaginary green transitions, human civilization fundamentally runs on heavy infrastructure: steel production, cement manufacturing, and chemical fertilizers.

These foundational processes require high-temperature industrial heat that wind and solar energy simply cannot reliably or affordably deliver. In countries like Germany, where green ideological mandates have been forced onto the energy sector, the true systemic costs have escalated dramatically, destabilizing the grid and harming economic independence. Even as political figures chant the slogans of the unrealistic Net-Zero 2050 policy, economic realities are forcing nations from Italy to Japan—and even parts of the United States—to quietly quietly re-embrace traditional energy sources like coal to keep the lights on and preserve industrial survival.

Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant; it is plant food, the very basis of biological negative entropy that sustains life on this planet. Enriching the atmosphere with $\text{CO}_2$ has demonstrably promoted the greening of global plant biomass and boosted agricultural yields worldwide. Furthermore, there is no sound statistical evidence linking global warming to an intensification or increased frequency of natural disasters like hurricanes, floods, or droughts.

The Inevitable Path Forward

The last U.S. administration and most current Europe governments adherence to these suicidal energy restrictions is a symptom of a deeper cultural decline—a willingness to sacrifice national strength on the altar of a false moral halo. This collectivist environmentalism operates as a slow-moving virus, numbing its victims until they accept a rapid decline in their standard of living and sovereign independence.

We have no time left to linger in naive optimism. Every citizen who respects common sense, individual liberty, and empirical truth must actively resist this engineered panic. It is delightful our national policies return to scientific reality and economic sanity under President Trump’s administration. History shows that humans possess an incredible capacity to adapt to nature’s shifting cycles. Rather than attempting to conquer nature through tyrannical government regulations, let us cultivate the inner moral discipline and intellectual clarity required to defend human civilization from the true entropic threat: the erosion of freedom from within.
