Confronting the Cultural Distortion Caused by Communism

A Memoir

Epilogue

To reveal how communism has distorted human civilization for nearly two centuries, this book employs the precise “chisel” of thermodynamic analysis—first developed to illuminate geological evolution and natural environmental processes and later matured through more than half a century of personal tribulation and philosophical reflection. Drawing on Erwin Schrödinger’s profound insight that life sustains order by importing “negentropy” (actively counteracting the universal drift toward disorder), together with ancient Chinese and Greek wisdom, the same analytical tool is now turned upon culture itself. Its objective is no longer limited merely to eliminating the “impossible” within physical systems, but to strip away the mask of hypocrisy worn by distorted cultures.

Defining “cultural genocide” as the core mechanism by which socialism transitions into outright communist tyranny, the book demonstrates that this transformation unfolds across four observable levels: engineered chaos, instilled fear, narrative control, and the eventual possession of thought and behavior. This entropic process was fully completed in mainland China over the past century and has begun accelerating rapidly in Western Europe and North America for decades. Communism functions as a powerful “cultural virus”—an entropic force that erodes moral law, faith, and individual self-discipline, driving societies toward disorder and puppet-like conformity. When evil pushes human civilization to the brink of collapse while many remain oblivious, this book urgently calls for the free world’s attention.

After the ecstasy of breaking free from the CCP’s shackles, a persistent sense of déjà vu compelled me to speak out. The spirits of fellow rightists who labored with me in jungles and coal mines, together with the silent entrustments of countless other victims, continue to call. There is nothing extraordinary about those who perished in that living hell or those who escaped back to earth; yet we recognize the same devil behind different masks. For thirty years, I have issued warnings to the academic and political spheres regarding the threat of cultural distortion —only to see my words vanish like smoke. Loneliness and confusion at times overwhelmed me; an intense desire to sound a same warning with a different way—gave birth to this book. I weave together disparate personal stories not to beg sympathy for what I endured since age eighteen, but to invite readers to employ their own observation and reason. May the world yet find its way out before it is too late.

The process by which communism distorts civilization always wears a seductive face. Having thoroughly eradicated traditional Chinese civilization, it now distorts Western culture while numbing its victims. What saddens and angers me more than the blood and tears of tens of millions is the destruction of souls—millions reduced to puppets, slaves, and zombies lacking self-dignity, who then become abusers of others and ultimately of themselves. I first glimpsed this truth while crawling at the bottom of a coal mine: the man who once beat me nearly to death later risked his life to save me from a mine collapse. When beguiled by evil, even those of an inherently good nature may lose their sense of reason; only when the spark of goodness is rekindled can atonement be achieved. The false moral halo of “class consciousness”—now rebranded in the West as “wokeism” and “identity politics”—is the most effective cultural virus yet devised. It divides society, kidnaps individuals, and accelerates entropic decay.

These human tragedies and moral disasters reveal the following essential lessons:

  • The core of the war between good and evil lies in culture. Communism represents the most successful distorted “culture” of the past two centuries; its most potent weapon is the cultural virus of “class consciousness,” “wokeism,” and “identity politics,” which divides society and kidnaps individuals.
  • The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) constitutes an international criminal organization that commits genocide and crimes against humanity, serving as the leading force of contemporary evil.
  • Communism’s “long march through the institutions” has achieved unprecedented victories in the West. After spawning numerous cowardly puppets and slaves within the political and academic spheres of Western Europe, the main battlefield has now shifted to the United States. The success or failure of the MAGA movement will largely determine the fate of humanity.
  • Western radical-left elitists share the same arguments, principles, and codes of conduct as the CCP. The eight strong similarities between them expose a common political framework designed for control and enslavement.
  • Based on this book’s definition of cultural genocide, the transition from cultural distortion to outright tyranny forms the core mechanism by which socialism evolves into full communist rule. This entropic transformation, occurring across four distinct levels, was completed in mainland China during the last century and is now accelerating rapidly in Europe and the United States.
  • Cultural distortion destroys civilization while numbing its victims. One of its most insidious manifestations is the creation of social chaos in the name of science—such as the pseudoscientific climate emergency narrative—which fuels self-harm and suicidal policies, hastening the decline of the United States and the broader West.
  • Truth emerges only through an intimate, personal lens grounded in common sense. Habitual partisanship and commercial narratives blind observers precisely when clarity is most urgently needed.
  • Misunderstandings of traditional Chinese culture have created persistent difficulties for the West over the past century. The deep integration of Christian and Eastern traditional cultures will significantly strengthen the forces of good in the decisive battle between good and evil.
  • Freedom remains inherently fragile. Individuals positioned on the periphery of major social and political shifts can preserve their dignity only by confronting evil directly and without compromise.

This is not a story of victimhood. It is a celebration of the human capacity to rise above circumstances, to exceed expectations, and to carve out one’s own path through disciplined negentropic resistance.

The crisis of distorted civilization has emerged and is worsening at dizzying speed. The world will grow more turbulent in the coming years. The key is to peel away the seductive mask of distorted culture; only then do truth and solutions become clear and simple. This book is not flattering to those who have long enjoyed peace and leisure, yet I have no choice. I am compelled to write while some deliberately fabricate illusions of historical memory and while commercial narratives and habitual partisanship cloud modern society.

May God bless America and human civilization.
