32 years ago, the CCP committed a brutal massacre of Chinese that shocked the world. This page of history has not yet been turned, and its trauma is still bleeding. It marked a recent disaster for an ancient nation and triggered a fresh crisis in human civilization.
Recent disaster for an ancient nation
The June 4th massacre in 1989 was a turning point in the CCP’s long-term stifling of Chinese civilization. China has a glorious history of civilization for thousands of years. But the mainland Chinese have never dominated their own destiny. In the past century, the suffering of the Chinese nation has never stopped. Dreaming of being able to stand up, but the Chinese have been kneeling at Mao’s feet since 1949. After Mao’s death, the kind-hearted Chinese people believed Deng’s false promise. The 1989 democratic movement demanded nothing more than anti-corruption and political reforms. Faced with such mild demands, the CCP used an army equipped with tanks to carry out bloody suppression. Consequence and enlightenment of the June 4th massacre has never been so manifest as it is today. The souls of the June 4th victims still cannot rest. The peaceful path of gradual political reform within the system has completely blocked. Historic opportunity for revival in Chinese civilization has completely ruined. For 72 years, the CCP robbed first in the name of revolution, and then divided the spoils in the name of reform. This is the so-called Chinese model, which has brought a deeper social disaster to the Chinese nation. No one would know how long it will take for the Chinese nation to restore these environmental damages and moral decay caused by the CCP.
The June 4th Incident in 1989 was the first time that the international media directly exposed the CCP’s massacre. As early as four consecutive years of the land reform movement, the CCP had massacred at least four million landlords and rich peasants. During the counter-revolutionary movement in 1950, the CCP killed the government officials and surrendered national army members of the Republic of China for about one million. Since then, a series of political movement have continued the massacre. The CCP has at least slaughtered or starved to death over 60 million Chinese for the past 70-plus years. People poorly understood the details of these. The June 4th Movement was not the most prominent in terms of the number of killings or cruelty. Its direct exposure has not weakened the CCP’s brutality, but since then the killing has become more hidden.
The June 4th Incident in 1989 was not only the massacre of the people but also the massacre of the spirit and the destruction of culture. This is the continuation of the CCP’s long-term massacre of people and destruction of culture. The Chinese reached a period of strongest sense of autonomy and the highest spirit of resistance in this movement. However, after the bloody massacre, the CCP has quickly controlled the people of the entire country. Utilitarianism and carnalism are rampant. People once again differ in their words and deeds and return to a life full of hostility. Regardless of the future, the road to cultural rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will be hard and long.
A new crisis for civilization
In the blood pool of June 4th, the rise of the CCP further damaged human civilization. With the help of the Western extreme left and the appeasement policy, the CCP plunged the world into the biggest crisis since World War II. It has become more difficult and riskier to defeat the CCP. The threat of the CCP’s totalitarian regime is not only a problem of China but also a problem of all humanity. A rising communist barbarism is threatening the existing human civilization. We commemorate the June 4th not only to call for truth and reflection in China but also to call and inspire the morality and conscience of people all over the world.
1989 was an iconic year belonging to the world. This iconic period started in Tiananmen Square and ended in the overthrow of communism in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. June 4th provided a historical opportunity to re-understand the nature of the Chinese Communist Party and revise the US policy towards China. The West had missed this opportunity for 28 years until that Trump’s cabinet turned it around. The U.S. policy toward China has since distinguished the Chinese people from the CCP. But this good start will face a series of new challenges.
Looking at the battles between good and evil, a strategic vision is utmost emphasis. The free world has long occupied an absolute advantage in ideology, social system, economy, science and technology, military and so on. However, if there is no strategic thinking that can match these helpful resources, all these advantages would be useless. Regrettably, this has indeed been true for the past 100 years. Looking back at the history of the CCP’s severe damage to human civilization, the West has been constantly retreating. One of the main reasons is that CCP had two excellent strategists, the two evil geniuses who had played a leading role successively. However, there have been no comparable figures in the Western world for a long time, and none of the top China Hands really understands Chinese culture. The good news now is that the reverse elimination of the CCP has given birth to such a freak like Xi Jinping, and the legacy of Mao and Deng will soon be exhausted. God has again given historical opportunities to the free world. As long as no western leaders who would once more pass strategic initiative to the CCP as before, the prospects should be optimistic.
From a cultural perspective, the absence of reason is the catalyst for this historical tragedy that has lasted for a century. Evil forces have been deliberately numbing people and killing the power of the mind to think and to form judgments by a process of logic. Whether in China or the United States, many kind people unconsciously contribute to this kind of absence of reason. This sad situation must be changed.
64 years ago, at 18, I began my life as a political pariah. No matter how much humiliation being suffered, I couldn’t bear to part with that birthplace of the ancient culture. In the deep dark of the mine, in the countryside and mountains, and on the university campus, there were always Kind-hearted people who had helped even protected me. They are still suffering. I pray for that Chinese would overthrow the CCP dictatorship and get freedom, eventually. I look forward to the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and to do some useful things for the people over there.
The gunfire on June 4, 1989, shattered the last illusion and became a sharp turning point in my life. Soon after we set foot on this coveted land of the United States, confusion and anxiety have replaced joy and passion. Socialism has already eroded the United States and formed the internal ally of the CCP to invade this great country.
I am an American-By-Choice, a new citizen. But relative to the shared values of the United States, I am a born old citizen. I am innately obligated to report to all my compatriots how the CCP make the greatest threat to American freedom, to explain why the battle of willpower around values is crucial and why the domestic radical left forces share cultural genes with the CCP. I am innately obligated to show all compatriots the importance of completing the deep integration of human civilizations, indicating that such integration will surely defeat the forces of evil.
