Cherish the Legacies When Facing “a Dark Winter”

Someone once said months ago that the U.S. was “about to go into a dark winter.” This coward, a puppet manipulated by dark force, turned out to become a diviner. This dark winter now starts officially. Could it be a road of no return? How long the dark winter would be if we can change it? The answers depend on each of us, on if we can cherish the legacies when into such “a dark winter”.

My mother was the first person to write an inscription on my commemorative album. She put down one word HONESTY in a large font on the paper, followed by an em dash and a note: “My mother gave this to me, and I am passing it to you now.” She said nothing afterwards but held my hands and looked at me in my eyes with a smile. This story began from a sea journey when I was eight. The CCP then punished me because of this word when I was a teenager. This word from my mother comforted me in the long-term humiliated life as a political pariah. The day to meet my mother again should not be far away, I hope I can also look at her in her eyes with a smile.

I have been warning about communist threats for decades, but hitting the walls everywhere in the United States. It then came out the idea about this memoir and I hope that as readers you draw your own conclusions from it. The book shows that beside the tangible fields of economy, information, technology, diplomacy, and even the military, there is a strong invisible antagonism. This is an invisible war of willpower around the values. The memoir reveals this is more crucial than all the other tangible wars. The history after the WWII has confirmed this judgment. An invisible war between civilization and communism, with the United States as the major battlefield, has been agitating the world.

Communism has quietly corroded the United States in politics, economy, education, media, and even the entire culture. With the help of the CCP virus, the communist attack on America has reached its climax and formed a catastrophic strike. Dr. Peter Navarro’s outstanding report has scientifically brought to light how the 2020 general election was stolen via this attacking climax. The United States thus risks institutionalizing a rigged electoral system in which a large segment of America will no longer have faith in. Something much larger and of far more import is that ultimately threatens the future of our democratic Republic and of human civilization.

A key area of long-term cultural penetration is our education system. A paper by Justin Haskins two years ago outlined how American public schools have become socialist indoctrination factories. Relevant phenomena have shocked me very much since we settled in the United States. In my successive letters to different US presidents, beside the warning about the CCP direct threat, I also pointed: ”Twisted American Dream has become a joined force with a poisoned globalization, which conversely threaten our national economy and security.” There’s same ending for all letters: “Please distinguish your policy for education by emphasizing on American spirit. Americans, both natural and naturalized, must be made under the framework of democracy by triggering the spirit inside of our souls.” In all polite replies, no one took my appeal seriously. Thus, I randomly voted for an independent candidate in the 2016 general election. However, President Trump’s outstanding performance and extraordinary efficiency since taking office have left a deep impression on me. What makes me admire even more is that he radically reversed the decline of the free world facing the communist attack. Among other things, he signed an executive order establishing the “1776 Committee” last year to promote patriotic education. It thrilled me to realize that this may be an excellent starting point to solve the educational problem. But today someone in White House disbanded the committee. This issue concerns our children and grandchildren, yours, and mine. They are the future of America. Would the swamp swallow these innocent children in this “dark winter”? Could they suffer the pain I once had?

Communist invisible invasion, boosted by the pandemic, ran high during the 2020 election. Avarice, ambition, and revenge have broken the strong cords that have sustained our governments. The CCP has massively eroded some politicians and our culture from different angles. These have infiltrated society in covert form, seducing people to abandon their faith and traditional moral values. It has deeply corroded the system for separation of powers that designed by our founding fathers. Why has evil easily found loopholes in American society and developed such massive corruption so fast? Why do so many people remain indifferent to this? Have we correctly understood and advocated our faith and the essence of the Constitution? Should we reshape our cognition? If we cannot learn from the lost, this “dark winter” will never end.

A sound of “a republic, if you can keep it” from the depths of history might reproach us. If there would be a hope, which still comes from the legacy of the founding fathers. The vertical check-and-balance system between the states and the federation has deeply rooted in ‘we the people”. This will give us confidences, courage, and wider space for further actions. American radical leftists have deployed more frantic conspiracy to prevent the people from fighting back. As far as the righteous forces are concerned, the future will be extremely difficult, and time is pressing. The righteous need to wake up the people deceived by radical-left lies and to act in a way that can minimize possible social shock.

The major ideas that shaped early America came from Jews and Christians. As time goes by, other cultures will inevitably enhance the light of this freedom beacon. This is especially important at this historical juncture when we must break through the winter darkness. This book repeatedly explores the huge potential of the deep integration between Chinese and Western cultures. Many Chinese intellectuals had respectfully recommended Western culture to their people before 1949. Conversely, the West knew little about China and often adopt an arrogant posture. In the United States, top China Hands misled the China policy for more than half a century, causing serious damage to the two countries. Over the past 20-plus years, many elitists have been subservient to the CCP “culture”. Compared to their long-term ignorance and arrogance to Chinese culture, this kneeling to the evil is really disgusting. To rediscover morality and wisdom from the depths of the two great cultures would form a strong power that solids the value of American forefathers. This is also especially important for many Chinese born after 1949. This would eventually eradicate the damage by the communist assault on our two splendid countries if the integration could succeed substantively. History will determine the interaction between this long-term cultural revival and the political operations in shorter term.
