Confronting the Cultural Distortion Caused by Communism

A Memoir

Halloween Dessert of Radical Leftists

One of my favorite Halloween joke is: “What kind of dessert does a ghost like? I-Scream!” They scream with their tricks whenever asking for treats. The ghosts of Marx and Mao are still haunting the world, and they need the fear and panic accompanied by screaming. This is another starting point for getting the power. Nowadays the pandemic is the CCP’s weapon, which has created the panic. The radical leftists in the West have actively been cooperating with it. In America they advocated defunding the police, encouraged street violence, and wish to seize power from the panic that accompanies the screaming. People disdain such politicians and have no difficulty to understand their ambitions logically. Media is the real puzzle. Honest journalists should to pursue truth and morality, not power. However, so many of them produce fake news with double standard, abandoning traditional ethics. Is it worth destroying your own reputation for others’ ambitions? What can you achieve from the chaos that accompanies screams?

The screaming produces fear and panic, which has often been the prelude to tyranny. In this way, the communism destroyed the ancient civilization and put China into darkness for nearly a century. Marx’s theory of class struggle was Sinicized by Mao Zedong. After the CCP’s armed seizure of power, this was reinforced by many subsequent political movements in China. People silenced by the fears or triggered by the greed, the CCP created both of which. Then on the second level, Mao and the CCP distorted the entire language system in mainland China through controlling the narrative. The third and deepest level was to control the public’s thoughts and behaviors. After being kidnapped and possessed, most people in mainland China turned into puppets and slaves. I have witnessed the entire process of forming a tyranny in this way and endured its persecution. The screaming of slogans at the time is still stinging my eardrums. Similar horrifying sound is now wandering around in the United States today. The American radical left’s strategy and its code of conduct are consistent with Mao’s framework. It couples with the evolution of socialism in the West and has threatened the entire human civilization seriously. So called “systemic racism” has become a new packaging for Marx’s class struggle theory for decades. But nowadays it might not work well anymore.

A thought-provoking news comes to my attention months ago. June 1, 2020 Terrence Floyd, the younger brother of George Floyd, gave a moving speech at the Minneapolis intersection where his brother’s life ended. He called on community members to stop looting and encouraged them to channel their frustration into voting instead. “Let’s stop thinking that our voice don’t matter and vote,” he said. “Not just for the president, but vote for the preliminaries. Vote for everybody. Educate yourself. Don’t wait for somebody else to tell you who’s who. Educate yourself and know who you’re voting for.”  What a speech that full of wisdom from a proud gentleman! This is a slap on the radical leftists, who have constantly belittled the dignity and IQ of African Americans.

After Halloween, most ghosts would go back to where they belong to. However, the specters of Marx and Mao will still stay. We are facing the ultimate choice of either protecting American values or destroying her in the upcoming election. This is a choice between freedom and servitude. We would have nowhere to escape to if we lost this last stand for freedom on earth.
